Garage Door Pricing Guide

There is no set price for a garage door because each door is custom made to fit the opening as far as width and height are concerned. Therefore, a detailed on-site measurement and quote is required for each garage door prior to ordering and installation.

Pricing is also based on the type of door you choose. For example, in one instance a roller door might be slightly cheaper than a sectional door, whereas in another the sectional door may be the cheaper option. Even within a specific type, there would be a difference in price. For example a Futura sectional door is cheaper than a Milano, which in turn is cheaper than a Sierra.

Apart from the type and style of the door of your choice, some other factors influencing the price are:

  • accessories, e.g. openers, entry keypads, etc.
  • added safety elements, such as an auto-lock system

Please note that price might not be the only deciding factor when it comes to the type of door you choose. For example, you may not have enough headroom to accommodate a roller door or you may want something that is highly customisable, in which case a sectional door will be the best option.

Therefore, it is crucial to ensure you are comparing apples with apples when you get quotes from multiple vendors. Make sure you ask the right questions and you receive all the detail you need in order to make an informed decision.
