Garage Door Repair Service in Hamilton and Waikato

We repair and service all makes and models of garage doors and automatic openers. We have trained technicians with many years of experience.

We also have an extensive range of remote controls available for purchase.

Please do not attempt to fix your garage door yourself. This will affect the validity of your warranty. Only use an authorised Dominator service technician for all servicing requirements.

Since your garage door is made up of numerous moving parts, simple maintenance and regular servicing by an authorised Dominator service technician will help ensure that your door functions in a safe, secure, and efficient manner and can save you the frustration of costly repairs when you least expect it.

Regular, ongoing servicing is one of the requirements for keeping your warranty valid. We recommend you have your door serviced annually but you must do it at least once in the first 12 months and every two years thereafter. If you have not done so already, you can register your warrantee here.

A standard service takes around 30-45 minutes, during which time the technician will perform a number of tasks, including but not limited to ensuring that the

  • opener operates as it should
  • spring tension is correct
  • nuts & bolts are tight
  • moving parts are lubricated
  • door is safe.

The spring unit on a Dominator garage door is under tension at all times and should never be adjusted, except by approved, fully trained Dominator dealers. Failure to use an authorised dealer will affect the validity of your warranty.
