By purchasing a Dominator garage door, a garage door opener package and registering this purchase online through our website, the warranty term is extended. Only available in New Zealand, our warranty determines that you need to register your purchase and warranty online and make sure that you know what you’re covered for after the purchase and installation of our products. Here at Dominator Waikato, we believe in the safety, security and longevity of our products and our clients and this is why we prioritise ensuring that you get optimum bang for your buck.
What is Covered by Our 10 Year Warranty?
Our popular Steel Curtain Doors are covered by our warranty, in the event of cracking and lock seam failure. Our Dominator garage door openers are also under warranty, including models Excel, Advance, Secure and Smart. All other door components and labour, excluding springs, are also under our 10-year warranty. The Dominator opener in Advance, Secure and Smart models are secure either under our 10 Year warranty or up to 20,000 cycles, whichever eventuates first from the date of installation by an approved Dominator installer.
Your 10 Year warranty covers either the repair or replacement, in a manner Dominator considers reasonable, of your garage door and garage door opener, when your garage door fails to operate in accordance with its installation and operation manual within that applicable period.
You should note, that as per the industry standard, mechanical and electronically controlled lock mechanisms, surface coatings (other than the appearance or grain of the timber, for Dominator timber look doors,) opener track assembly (including all parts), transmitters and accessories are all covered for up to 1 year. Consumables such as batteries in remote control transmitters, light bulbs and fuses, are not covered.
